You probably can't. First of all, a real Geisha (not Geisha girl, just Geisha) would be incredibly expensive to hire. Second, if you're outside of Japan, you're probably not going to find a real Geisha anywhere near you. However, you might find people who portray/perform as Geisha. Apparently there are three in St. Louis (website here: http://bonitaharmon.tripod.com/index.html ). Even if you don't live nearby, you might consider contacting them anyway to see if they know of any similar performers near you. Another option would be to check with Japanese restaurants or cultural organizations near you or near where you'll be having your party to see if they know of any people who could meet your needs.

For Halloween I am going as Little Red Riding Hood. I am 13. Yes, my costume dress is short but I have white tights and black flats. With a red cape that cuts off mid-back. How should I do my hair? I was thinking two french braids? Oh, and my nails? And make up? Thanks.
Your nails should be ruby red. Maybe even a french manicure or fake french manicure nails. (Wow french people really have style!) Maybe peach or light pink blush would make it sweet. A longer eyeliner line is a must! Light red or hot pink eyeshadow will do the trick and red or hot pink lipstick. Fake lashes or some mascara. Good luck!

Can anyone help me out with ideas for a cosplay?
Ok, the cosplay's not really for me, it's for a friend of mine. She's trying to find a good outfit for a convention that's like in october or near that period; however, she has no idea what to use as a base. She doesn't mind much if it's a video game, anime, movie or series character, as long as it has a chance at the cosplay and that she'll look good in the outfit. She also prefers avoiding any blondes(though if you've got a good blonde character, please propose it) since she's brunette. Definite steps... like straight razor lines in a row... I thought they were called steps, but I looked on google, and couldn't find any pictures. Does anyone know the correct term for this, or know where I can get pictures?

What time is the Lolita fashion represent?
I know there are four types of Lolita fashion, a punk) b) c goth) classic d) sweet, but Thus it was assumed that from? Is it Victorian? Perhaps the Edwardian era? Or what? Help please!
xD I'm going to have to agree with Raven ♥ about the idea that women do not wear skirts to the knee at the time (with the exception of the punk era) because it was indecent (to be see the length of the side letter to the girls in the late 1800's - which should be in wiki), though, punk was built in the 1970s during the years Sex Pistol and the debut of Vivienne Westwood. Lolita was about 70 years, but then was called Lolita, nor that it looks like it does today. The typical skirt length and the silhouette is actually removed from New Look of Dior, circa 1950 (personally, I wish more lolitas give credit to the figure, instead of saying this is the time Victorian / Rococo - even, lolita can be well compared with crinoline dress a girl during the early Victoria / Antebellum era). Gothic fashion has been for a Very Long time before people could even fashion label (the name comes from a Goth German tribe who sacked the Roman Empire). Much of Gothic Lolita (And Gothic fashion and some of its sub styles) take many elements of the Victorian era. Classic removes items from the Victoria and Edwardian era, the only difference between Gothic and Classic is the classic has the lighter colors (silence sweet lolita). Compared with sweet lolita, classic often uses a different shape (a line silhouette. Dulce usually has a skirt shaped like a cupcake). Sweet Lolita had its own evolution. When Lolita was still evolving in silhouette, aesthetics and users / amateurs, sweet lolita was simple, like classic Gothic Lolita was / is - the only difference was that the designers use pastel colors instead of black or muted. During the internet boom, Lolita became more known and typical of the fashion became more defined as sub-styles merged (as a sailor and lolita country) - in those years, several brands lolita (like Angelic Pretty, is not sweet at first brand loli) focused on largest market (the west) and began making prints as a way to emphasize the sweet lolita is today (print only became popular, in fact - Easy sell and differentiate between the marks, which gave an image). What are some lolita hairstyles for girls?
I tried searching everywhere, even google, but I can not find any. any Lolita type to do, but I usually prefer goth lolita. any length of hair is good too, anything that is too short, but a little short or long term. and please do not try to suggest other hairstyles, no rude answers, if you do not like the look lolita, no response. Well, I think that lolita sweet curls (soft curls) are obvious, but if you like curls, maybe I could get away with w / style of them. In general, however, whether gothic lolita or sweet (or any other sub-categories) I think Long Hair is much more common than short hair. Short hair is more associated with the "punk" style. I do not think that could go wrong with Long Straight hair with either style, especially what is clothing that is more dependent on whether it is a "gothic" or "Sweet" Lolita style. Although, of course, you can have hair accessories, etc.. you can pull the look together. In addition, darker hair colors are obviously connected with gothic lolita while you can have lighter hair for sweet lolita. If you have a Japanese shop around or with some money to spending online ordering, you could get a Japanese fashion magazine that will help (not necessarily need to know Japanese) Here is a list Japanese fashion magazine: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/magazine/list_mag. html? id = 5 # 9 Your best bet would be "Kera" and then "Cutie" that hair styles you are looking for. Any tips on how to make a costume of Alice in Wonderland?
My friend and I are going to be Alice and the Mad Hatter and the two want to be sexy, but not risque. I do not want to buy my costume because I wanted to add my own sense of fashion to it. 1) Does anyone know where I could get a dress blue and an apron? 2) Hair: best line? or curly? 3) red lipstick or not?
Check your local thrift stores. Whenever there are stones, but may have to do some research. Any light blue dress and Alice must work for short sleeves if you can pair it with a white or ruffly white shirt underneath. Probably could find a white apron in white, but I think that as long as the dress is blue, you'll be fine. Decorate yourself with the card game also part of costume!
