Boss Synthetic
Confirm: coveralls for working don't come in 100% synthetic because they'll melt when exposed to heat or fire?
So, if I simply insist on wearing 100% synthetic coveralls, is it OK to wear Nomex coveralls to work, even though they cost 2-3X as much? Or will the other auto mechanics in the shop laugh at me, or the boss require me to change, or will everyone follow my lead and switch?

Yes synthetic is a kind of plastic that will melt or catch on fire when exposed to heat or flame. Nomex is a fire retardant material use by fire fighters etc. Will be expensive, especially in a shop where you may have to clean daily due to grease, dirt etc. Your choice, but may be a bit of overkill depending on your particular job assignment, working conditions etc.

Is thier something wrong with my rat!?
My rats remy and naz have been suffering from some infection. So naturally I scraped some money together to take them to the vet (Which cost me $100 for meds and appointment). The vet said it was myco, so she gave me some medicine. I have given them their shots everyday and they are still sneezing. They don't get blood around their eyes or nose anymore, but sneeze constantly. Is their something else I can do. I don't have the money to take them to the vet and their meds are gone. Only one of my rats is sneezing. I give them new water, clean their cage every four or five days (It's four stories), and try to play with them outside at least 40 Min's a day. Would should I do?
The red stuff around their nose isnt blood- its called porphryn. Its completely normal- its the lurbrication from their nose and eyes, and seeing a little from time to time is fine (: If its in excessive ammounts however- it meand they are very stressed, or hane an infection.
Rats sneeze a lot- its very normal. As long as you don't hear hissing or wheezing coming from their lungs- then it's just fine. If you start to notice a significant increase of sneezing, wheezing, hissing etc- its a RTI (respiratorty tract infection) and can be fatal if not treated.
Kudos to you for being a good rattie mom and taking them to the vet! If you can't get any more money and they seem to be on a decline ((which seems unlikely from what you discribed)) then take them to a pet store near you, or the one you got them from. Typically, they have someone on staff that can council you on your ratties.

Sometimes when I'm bored with my hair just use an iron or a curling iron to put soft curls in her hair just to make a little wavy. is fun for a day, and I can do something different tomorrow. How is hit with oily skin?
I cut my hair a few months ago and I had side bangs. That only lasted a few days before the discarded. My hair and skin is very prone to oil my bangs and always together and are very thin. I've tried using a round brush and hair dryer, washing my hair and face often, and all you can think of, but nothing works. I can not wash my hair as much as it seems I have because it is treated with color (which helps with the oil). Any advice to have bangs oily skin? Is it possible?
Keep your face clean. Use moisturizer. Just keep your hair on your face when you leave, but put it on tape for the most part.

I am playing a blonde girl in my play, and I have medium Brown Hair. Bleach or wig?
I am casted as Kirstie in "Number the Stars", a Blonde Hair blue eyed christian girl. I have blue eyes, but my hair is a medium brown color. The play takes place during the holacaust, so those factors are kind of really important! The people who play my family ALL have blonde hair. I don't know what to do! I was thinking about bleaching my hair or buying a wig, what do you think? HELP!
Okay, so... I dress up as a hobby and had the wrong color hair for a character. I have dark brown hair and the character I wanted to play was blonde. I decided to bleach my hair. In all, I found that I really liked it. It looked more natural and made my eyes (mine are blue too) really pop. However, I then realized that I'd either have to keep dying the roots or dye it back to dark brown to make it look natural again, but I decided against it. Now I have half brown, half blonde hair and I love the look even MORE. However, I can't dress as that one character anymore...
However, bleaching your hair will be expensive. I had mine done professionally because the boxed hair dyes don't stay in my hair and it cost around $120. But if you choose this method, you might want to keep the roots nice and covered or dye it back, which means more money.... A wig that'll look natural plus all the supplies to take care of it (wigs are actually a lot like pets... >.>) will be around $40 for a short one, $60-70 for a shoulder length one, and over $100 for a long one.
You should look for a blonde wig made of Kanekalon fiber (not one listed as "synthetic" because that means it's not Kanekalon) or human hair (more expensive). For a more realistic look, you should go for a Skin Top (a piece of plastic down the part that looks like scalp). If you buy a wig with "ratting" or a "packing top" (I've seen it both ways), it will just have tiny, curled fibers at the roots, so it won't be as realistic, but it'll be easier to change the part.
Also, wigs don't just "fall off" if you wear them properly and buy the right supplies for them. For example, I play Dance Dance Revolution with my friends while we wear wigs. Never had a wig so much as slip. And the only time I lost a wig was when I wasn't wearing pins and someone pulled on it. The only time a friend lost a wig was when she wasn't wearing pins, forgot about it, and hung upside down. So yeah... They don't just "fall off" if you know what you're doing.
For supplies, you'll need a wig head (styrofoam are cheapest), Wig Cap, hair/bobby pins, a widetoothed comb or wig brush, and wig detangling spray if you chose a long one (spray it in an hour or so or whatever the instructions tell you before wearing to keep it from tangling). For wig cap, there are two options you'll want to consider, a nylon cap or a mesh cap. The nylon cap, I've heard, is better for covering short hair. They also come in many different colors, so you can find one that matches your wig for more realism. Mesh caps, I've heard, are better for containing longer hair and also provide added grip to the wig. I personally use a mesh cap and I love it. My friends with nylon caps always complain about how many pins they need to use. I only use two. And I only need them on my longest wig.
The hair/bobby pins are important if you're scared the wig will fall off. I hear hair pins are better for wigs, but I use bobby pins and they work just fine. To help keep your wig on, you should also make sure it has an adjustable cap and secure it to a size that'll fit you comfortably.
This next thing is really important... You need to keep your wig on a wig head/form of some type and keep it neat and well groomed or it could lose it's shape or become all kinked. Widetoothed combs are best for this, though you can also use wig brushes. Be gentle when working out tangles or you'll stretch out the fibers and make them look bad or rip them out, and wigs only have a certain number of fibers, unlike the human head.
To put on a wig, first tuck your hair into a wig cap. I just put my hair into a ponytail with a thin hairtie and shove it under the cap (make sure most of your hair is in the back, it's where wigs are meant to stretch). Next, take your wig off the wig head. For putting it on, I personally flip the thing over first and lean over to meet it, but I know some people don't. Anyway, set the front edge against your forehead, near your eyebrows, and pull it over your head until it's all the way down on the other side of your head, where your skull and neck meet. Then, all you need to do is make sure your hair is tucked in and none of the wig hair is snagged under the edge, adjust the front edge so it's at your hairline, and you're good. ^^ if someone else is putting the wig on you for you, then sit upright and tell them to put it on back to front.

Should I try a wig? or cut my hair?
I have trichotillomania and have a 1in area from the top of my forehead and towards the back, where my hair is in "recovery". all of the hairs are 1-2 in long...not even, and hard to blend because they like to stick straight up. I was considering buying a wig peice... but they seem difficult. i was also considering a SHORT haircut... like... short short. any suggestions would be awesome!! links are a plus :3
I'd recommend getting the hair cut before trying a wig.
Wigs aren't THAT uncomfortable... High heels are 100x worse, but women rarely think twice before throwing them on. If you're prone to having an itchy scalp, then you have to re-learn how to scratch (find holes in the mesh and poke your fingers through). They don't really make your head more itchy, they just make it harder to scratch your head, so you feel like it's itchier. If it's a hot day out, then it'll feel like you're wearing a winter cap. Other than that, they're very comfortable.
Also, a short wig is very easy to care for. It's the long ones you need to worry about.
The only problem I see is that you might start pulling out the fibers of the wig, and wigs can't grow hair back.

Hi as a salon owner and a stylist for years, I would not recommend you try this cut yourself, it is a difficult cut for any hairdresser, its about getting the concave right, and also the bob itself has to be perfect, I have seen many a bob not correct as the client does not sit upright in the stylists chair
I would have to say in all honestly it would be near impossible to cut this style yourself and get it right, the A line bob is well back in fashion, sorry to disappoint you

How to use hair straighteners for medium length hair?
Hey I'm a guy with shortish/ medium length hair. The fringe comes almost down to my eyebrows but not quite. I dunno how to do the fringe correctly coz when I straighten it i have to lift it up so i don't burn the skin, so then the hair just stays up and i can't flatten it back down! I have this problem with the rest of the hair altho i don't have to worry about burning my forehead.
Any advice on how to straighten it smoothly?
you can buy a travel KQC which is a mini for around 3O dollars BUT it works well and it would work great for yur length of hair .

I have short layered hair, and I was wondering if red highlights would be a smart choice for me????
Honestly, that really depends on what Hair Color your hair is. Depending on it, it could work if you put it on really lightly so it doesn't show that much or you could put it on maybe a single strand or something like that.
