this winter hurt my bottle brush,i have some green stems growing at the base and some green leaves growing on bottom branch. QUESTON: should i trim all the top,down to the green? the other leaves are brown and some fall off and are very sharp
It sounds like your plants got frozen. If you don't see any green above the the bottom I would go ahead and make some cuts half way up and check to see if they are green inside the cut.Another way to check them is to take a sharp knife and scrape a little bark away on several larger limbs and check for green If they are green I would leave them alone until the end of May and then cut backIf they are completely brown then go ahead and cut them back just above the green area. Bottle brush can be severely damaged by temperatures below 20 degrees.

hello, an unfortunate genes from my father, I've been losing hair at a rate considered. I'm just 19 years, and my crown is very thin now. I have no health problem at all, I have also healthy lifestyle. However, soon I'll be off to college, I do not want to be a fan of strange appearance with my hair. I also do not want hat every time, so I was thinking of a getting a wig. A wig that seems natural, now please do not advise me to shave my head because I have low self-esteem, I would do if I was 30 or higher. But I'm only 19, and Collge, so I do not want to be old. How long you can use colored contact lenses?
I'm thinking about buying colored contact lenses, brown or blue husky. I wonder how long they last once they have started using them? Because they are very expensive, about $ 37 a pair + shipping.
I used using color contact lenses and I a couple anywhere from 1 month to 4 months (although they were supposed to use only for 2 weeks, but sometimes forget to get a new pair) and I'd like to use 8 to 12 hours a day. just take care of them well, make sure not to tear and put them in a solution when not in use, not use tap water to clean and should last a few months.

What is the ratio of gray at a young age?
I'm only 22 and my hair has started to become gray. what may be the reason? Is Stress? mental stress? and how can we fight this gray hair? what resources I can take?
The voltage on / tension in relation to the gray is a myth. All this is BS, you are not healthy or abnormal, I just want to explain. What gives your hair its color is your melanocytes. The scalp also produces two chemicals, which is a peroxide and I can not remember the second, but chemical that neutralizes peroxide as you get older (and what can really be of any age and in 20), our scalp stops producing the chemical neutralization, allowing the start whitening peroxide your hair. I have a friend who is 28 and is now almost completely gray, otherwise in perfect health. Go get some Just for Men, maybe use the "maturation" aging effects to their personal benefit;) And above all, be grateful that goes gray and will not fall!

Im growing my hair our Pretty Long but its curly and i want it straight. When I get out of the shower it always seem I lose a peice of hair or two a day. I shampoo everyday too
If by piece, you mean a couple strands, then that's not a big deal. People naturally lose about 100 hairs a day on average. I would just make sure I condition well and before I go to sleep, i would put my hair in a big braid to prevent tangles. I'd also use heat protectant shampoo and conditioner since you want to keep it straightened

Do hair salons carry that shade? Can someone also describe the color to me, no links please, just personal experience. Does it only come in semi/demi permanent? And any pictures would be helpful as well!
It will be a sort of Dark Purple colour, quite deep and usually give your hair a nice shine, I think salons should have it but i've seen loads of semi and permanent DIY packets in drug stores

How to grow my Hair Long and healthy?
My hair's damaged from coloring and heat...
I'm getting my hair cut/trimmed tomorrow.
My hair's a bit longer than my shoulders, but I want to grow it nice, long and healthy.
I'm going to start taking multivitamins, and b-complex. I try to drink lots of water.
Is there anything else I can do to grow my hair long and healthy?

Good for you for starting with a better diet.
Now, your hair needs to naturally repair itself as well as your interference with it, so try to let your hair's natural oils condition your hair (but not grease it down!). Shampoo your hair only when it's actually visibly greasy to the point where it actually bothers you. Instead of shampooing daily, use just conditioner to keep your hair looking and feeling clean (trust me, it will feel the same as if you used shampoo) and leave it on your hair, do your other shower stuff and rinse it off with cold water at the end of your shower. The longer you leave conditioner in, the softer and healthier your hair will come out. The cold water is to seal the hair cuticles to lock in moisture and shine.
Keep your hair natural as much as possible. Don't tie it up or use heat appliances if you can bear. Instead of rubbing down your hair with a towel to dry it (because your hair is most vulnerable to damage and breakage when it's wet), gently squeeze out water using a paper towel and pat your hair dry. Put something between your neck and your hair if your hair is long and it bothers you when it's wet and let it air dry.
Getting it trimmed regularly is also important to keep growing hairs from snapping from weak or split ends.

I'm writing a story and i'm trying to make a front cover. I've looked everywhere for a girl with black hair and pale skin but I can't find it anywhere! Could you help? she has to be around 17.

Much has been written on how to save money on razor blades. The internet is full of articles about cleaning your razors in alcohol, dislodging stubble with a toothbrush, or drying your razor blades. How can I prepare my AFRO hair for wig?
I can't cornrow [I can do normal plaits/braids though], and I don't have the finances to pay someone to do it.
It can't fit into a ponytail ... too thick
And when I try to put just a stocking cap on, it looks too puffy and hair always sticks out! When I put the wig on, I sware my head looks huge.
And I *DO NOT* want to use any heat or chemicals in my hair!
Hiya,
If you make rows in your head from front to back then section each row into four squares you'll be able to plait your hair and join the end of each plait to the plait that follows it. Then you have the cornrow effect. If your hair is still too short for four plaits per row, increase the number of plaits per row.

What are the best type of rollers (overnight sleep in kind) for achieving spiral, bouncy, gorgeous curls? I have frizzy shoulder length hair with layers. Also what is the best setting lotion to tame my frizzy hair so when i take the rollers in the morning it wont be a frizzy puffy mess? Any suggestions? Thanks! And please do not reccomend homemade rollers, anything with heat, or anything really expensive! P.s. I want my size of curls to be similar to taylor swifts hair!
My answer will be about the frizzy hair part only.
Frizzy hair is not a hair type, it is a hair condition. What will happen to your hair if it is something in between curly and wavy hair type and is temporarily dry? It will become Frizzy. Frizzy hair looks messy, locks are not shiny and they look fluffy. Such hair become more fluffy in high humidity weather.
What to do with frizzy hair?
As I told above in most cases frizz is caused by dryness, so the key to non frizzy hair is moisturizing...
